Sir Peter Hendy CBE, Chairman of Network Rail, said: “The Railway Industry Association’s Annual Conference is always an important event, offering the opportunity for rail supply businesses to engage with clients and policy makers.

“For Network Rail, it’s a great opportunity to meet with the many businesses that support our work and to discuss the key issues of importance to our rail network.”

This year’s conference focuses on the theme of ‘How UK Rail Will Reboot The Economy’. Over three days, the programme will combine keynote speeches, panel discussions, interview sessions and unique networking opportunities, giving delegates the chance to connect with key industry leaders.

Darren Caplan, Chief Executive at RIA, said: “I’m really looking forward to this year’s RIA Annual Conference and am delighted to launch the preview, highlighting the wealth of activity set to take place.

“Whilst we can’t meet in person this year our Conference will be as vital, if not more vital, than ever.

“We have Ministers, key policy makers and influencers, client representatives and industry leaders are ready to hear thoughts and views.

“Importantly, the Conference will also be an opportunity to celebrate the work of the sector of the past few months and a chance to discuss how rail can reboot the economy.”
