Rail networking event heads to North West in May as it continues to grow

A leading rail-specific networking event is heading to Wigan as it continues to grow to record levels of exhibitor and visitor numbers.

A brainchild of rail insurance brokers Jobson James Rail, Rail Infrastructure Networking (RIN) has just completed its first event in 2018, in which more than 260 rail professionals attended and networked with more than 90 exhibitors of rail businesses offering a huge diversity of products and services for the rail industry. Over the last year, the event has continued to gather pace – outgrowing venues and continuing to experience unprecedented levels of interest.

Taking place at the Business Design Centre in London, all who attended made the most of an opportunity to meet new contacts to forge new partnerships and grow their businesses.

The event heads to the DW Stadium in Wigan in May – with bookings already taking place for exhibitor space, available for just £125, on the RIN website. The RIN team has added a new online payment function to the website, so exhibitors can book their space more easily than ever before. Visiting the event remains to be free as RIN continues to build on its reputation as one of the UK’s leading free industry-specific networking events – though please note that the badge system is now ‘print-at-home’ so please remember to bring the badge with you.

Keven Parker, Rail Director of Jobson James Rail, said: “It is pleasing to see the huge levels of interest we have had for RIN since its conception – London was our seventh event and, yet again, we have seen unprecedented visitors and exhibitor numbers. Businesses working in the rail industry see the value to an event like this – we’ve continued to keep the event at a low cost so the main cost remains to be peoples’ time. Our events are perfect for rail companies to exhibit their services in a convivial collaborative atmosphere at very low cost. May I thank the buyers who attended our last event, we had procurement professionals from most of the major Principal Contractors and also from Network Rail. All of our exhibitors seemed really pleased with the new connections they made so the event was very worthwhile. Many remarked that they would not have been able to meet so many useful people to their business in one place at other rail events because, we have no presentations or long speeches so people can relax and get to know each other and have plenty to time to talk.

“Our North West event will be held at Wigan this year instead of Crewe, again to accommodate the anticipated increased number of exhibitors and visitors. Booking an exhibitor space is now easier than ever and we are encouraging businesses to book their places as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.”

RIN North West will be held at the DW Stadium, Wigan on Thursday 17th May. If you would like to exhibit at the event for just £125, please visit the Exhibitors page. If you would like to book your place as a visitor at the event for free, please visit the Visitors page.
