Dyer & Butler, a leading provider of transport infrastructure repair, maintenance, replacement and engineering services, recently participated in the inaugural M Group Services Capability Day which was held at the Museum of London.
The hugely successful event provided M Group Services, a £1bn turnover business, with an opportunity to highlight its position as a leading essential services provider within the regulated sectors of utilities, transport, telecom, and data capture. All other M Group Services businesses were also represented at the event including Morrison Utility Services, Morrison Data Services, Magdalene and M Group Services Plant & Fleet Solutions.
The event featured keynote presentations from Chairman of the National Infrastructure Commission Lord Adonis and entrepreneur and Dragons’ Den panellist Deborah Meaden.
Lord Adonis offered an insight into essential infrastructure investment within the UK whilst Deborah Meaden discussed the importance of service delivery and long-term client relationships in the running of a successful group.
Neil Edwards, Managing Director of Dyer & Butler, added: “This event provided a very useful opportunity for Dyer & Butler to showcase the breadth of our core capabilities and the scale of the complex projects that we deliver to our long-term airport, rail, highways and energy clients. Clients who attended the event will have gained a really useful insight into the ways in which M Group Services businesses can work together to maximise synergies by coordinating common functions, sharing best practice and implementing commercial and financial controls.”
Chief Executive of M Group Services Jim Arnold commented: “Across our group, we are now delivering services to a broad client base that spans the regulated utilities, transport, data and telecoms sectors. We are delighted to have hosted such a successful networking event that provided an ideal platform for us to highlight the scope of expertise and the complimentary capabilities that M Group Services offers.”
