High Speed 1 (HS1) is celebrating its 10th birthday with record passenger numbers and exceptional passenger satisfaction, unrivaled punctuality and a marked impact on Kent’s economy.
To mark the milestone HS1 Ltd, the company that owns and operates HS1, has published a report today by entitled ‘10 Businesses at 10 Years’, which can be viewed here. The report presents real life examples of how HS1 has helped 10 of the most exciting businesses in Kent to grow and prosper. An accompanying survey of leading Kent businesses showed that:

Passengers using HS1 have doubled since launch, with services carrying over 20 million domestic and international passengers in 2016 alone. With an unrivaled average delay per train of less than five seconds, and passenger satisfaction on the domestic service at 93%, HS1 has proven itself to be a world class high speed rail service.
