A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Civils focused CEM to work for one of the most progressive businesses in the industry on a range of interesting Projects.

Projects can often include bridge upgrades and refurbishments, station work (platforms), AfA / Access for All schemes, structures including bridges and footbridges, line side civils amongst others and a range of experience will be preferable for this role.

Responsibilities will include leading the design delivery process for both the internal design team and external designers, primarily dedicated to schemes within frameworks but also providing support to a variety of multi-disciplinary rail, civil engineering projects throughout the country primarily in the North East and Midlands.

Requirements for the role

To excel in this position, you will have been approved as a CEM within a (similar) rail contracting organisation & have extensive railway, civils project experience.

  • Degree / HNC or HND in civil engineering (or equivalent compensating experience in a technical engineering role)
  • Experience as CEM / Contractors Engineering Manager in a multi-disciplinary rail contracting environment.
