Harsco Corporation’s Rail division will be exhibiting at Berlin’s Innotrans event, the International Trade Fair for Transport Technology.
With more than 140,000 exhibitors and 2,900 exhibitors from 60 countries, Innotrans is the transport industry’s leading international trade fair.
The fair occupies all of Berlin’s exhibition grounds, filling more than 41 exhibition halls and 3,500 m2 open air grounds.
Harsco Rail will be showcasing its expert engineering services, innovative technology and parts and services, which it supplies to railway builders and maintainers across the globe. Alongside track construction and maintenance vehicles, Harsco Rail’s product portfolio includes aftermarket, contracted services and Protran technology.
On display at Innotrans will be Harsco Rail’s latest range of rail grinding equipment, patented Stoneblower technology, safety and measurement equipment and associated parts and services.
The company will also be displaying its Universal Vehicle Xem 181 which is part of a 31-vehicle maintenance fleet currently used to maintain the Gotthard Base Tunnel, the world’s longest railway tunnel.
This utility track vehicle is equipped with a dual-mode drive, an automatic train coupling and a radio remote control, the Universal Vehicle also has ETCS, as well as a personnel and workshop module.
Vehicle presentations will take place every two hours daily between 10:30 and 16:30.
Harsco Rail will be exhibiting at two stands during Innotrans 2018; at booth 315 in hall 25, and at outdoor displays at track 5/418.
