We currently have an exciting opportunity to join our multidisciplined surveying business for an experienced UAV Manager, in what is an exciting period of growth for this division within the business.

Role overview:

We are looking for an experienced candidate to come into the business and supercharge this divisions next era of growth. You will be multi-skilled, combining operations management, business development, project estimation, mentoring future pilots and flying more complex works where necessary. This is an exciting and challenging role with large scope for development with the successful implementation of the company’s business plan.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years commercial UAV flying experience
• Experience delivering high accuracy UAV data on complex projects
• Full understanding of the current CAA legislation
• Abreast with new technology
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• Work equally well within a team and also in an autonomous environment
• Be self-motivated and driven
• Ability to train and mentor others

Desirable:

• University degree in survey related field
• Operations management experience
• Business development/sales experience
• Worked previously as a land surveyor/engineer, or with land surveying firms as a – contractor
