UKRRIN and the Centre of Excellence in Rolling Stock invites you to attend this one-day workshop, taking place Tuesday 15 October from 10.30am–3.30pm at the University of Huddersfield.

You will learn about the updates to the Rail Technical Strategy (RTS), and the Rolling Stock Centre of Excellence which forms a part of the UK Rail Research and Innovation Network (UKRRIN). It aims to celebrate recent success and explore new opportunities to collaborate on the delivery of the RTS.

Updated routemaps for the five industry-agreed RTS functional priorities are being released this year.

• Explore the newly refreshed routemaps for the Low Emissions, Optimised Train Operations and Efficient and Reliable Assets priorities.
• Share thoughts and questions on accelerating the journey toward achieving goals stated in the RTS.
• Hear case studies of successful R&D and work underway relating to these three priorities, and particularly relating to rolling stock.
• Tour cutting-edge facilities at the Institute of Railway Research (IRR).
• Network with UKRRIN members, both from academia and industrial partners, to map existing activities, create synergies, and explore new collaboration opportunities.
