Scotlands Railway SME Meet the Buyer Event

Network Rail and its key suppliers are hosting a networking event for SMEs keen to learn more about work available across Scotland’s Railway over the next five years.

Scotlands Railway SME Meet the Buyer Event is being held at The Studio, on Glasgow’s Hope Street, on Wednesday November 13 and is open to any company interested in increasing their presence in the rail sector.

Over two separate sessions – in the morning and afternoon – attendees will be able to hear directly from Network Rail and suppliers about opportunities to be involved in over £1bn of investment in Scotland’s Railway between now and 2029.

The event will also focus on opportunities within Network Rail’s frameworks for Building and Civils and Signalling, Power and Communications.

In addition to Network Rail, QTS, Rail Systems Alliance Scotland, VolkerRail, Taziker, Story, AMCO, SPL Powerlines and Siemens will also be available on the day to discuss their work and take questions.

Each of the sessions will last three hours, from 09.00-12.00 and 13.00-16.00 and includes a Network Rail Introduction, partner presentations, Q&As and breakout supplier sessions.
