RAIL CYMRU 2022

7th April 2022

Five years ago, we established what was then called the Welsh Transport Conference: a one-day event designed to bring together the stakeholders responsible for delivering transport services in the country to discuss future plans and coalesce around the same vision.

Fast-forward to 2022 and, due to popular demand, the event has been adapted to focus exclusively on the railway. Now in its fifth year and now rebranded as Rail Cymru, it has solidified its position as a must-attend staple in the agendas of hundreds of rail industry professionals across Wales and beyond, all of whom have a vested interest in improving the passenger and freight network in the country.

This year’s narrowed-down focus on railway comes at a particularly important time, with Transport for Wales recently taking over parts of Network Rail’s asset portfolio in Wales after KeolisAmey embarked on its new franchise back in 2018.

Rail Cymru is your chance to engage directly with more than 400 influential decision-makers under the same roof. Join us to find out what makes the event a top priority for so many in the country and beyond.
